What are the rules on doing a complete renovation yourself in Virginia?I'm looking to do a complete renovation including redoing the electrical, plumbing, and moving around walls. It was fine for the two years you rented it. The bathroom was fine and now you want it remodeled more to your liking.
You could try negotiating, but were I your landlord I would laugh at what you want him to pay for, or dropping the price that drastically to include what you want. New windows?
