Can you get a home loan with less than 2 years of employment history? My husband and I are trying to apply for a home loan. I've been with my current employer for 3 years and he has been with his current employer for 1 year. His work history had been very unstable up until last year. We just want to know if this will be a problem when applying for a home loan.

I would suggest renting instead of buying a home. You could try finding a roommate at your college to rent with, so you it wouldn't be that expensive. Also, you should look into getting student loans rather than paying your school with your credit cards. Student loans don't have as high interest and usually don't have to be paid off until you're out of school. There should be someone at your college who could help you out with student loan information.
To find housing, or a roommate, try http://fortlauderdale.craigslist.org/
Looks pretty sharp to me.
I have a Sure Safe Steel Buttress foiundation and I take offence to your remarks which I find to be bassless. This is the only foundation that turne a manufactured home into a real home–ask someone who has one. I can only conclude you have no experience with the foundation or your are a competitor.
Try a bank. Most banks know how to process them, especially if they have a mortgage department.
Or do you mean you have already tried the loan officers of all the local banks? Maybe you weren't clear about what you meant and they didn't understand. Some of them should definitely be able to do it.
Call a local mortgage broker. They would love to help you out!
well that sounds good but that wouldnt pass inspection in midland county michigan i just put in a manufactured home and i had to put in 16 inch round footings which had to be 42 inches deep your guys footing will still move with frost heaving from frost is the second strongest force in the world besides plate tectonics so your guys solution sucks

Becareful giving your personal information to everyone that replies to your post. Sorry Guys. Get their company name, address, phone number, etc. Then do a little research find their company website and make sure everything correct. If they don't have a website, don't called them back. If they gave you different info call the number on the web site and verify at the person works for the company. Also contact the Better Business Bureau to see if there are any complaints.
As far as the laywer for your credit rating. Most of the time the only thing that will change your rating is time. If there is something wrong on your report call but the company that put the wrong thing on and the credit reporting company to get it removed. Call both of them once everyday until it is gone.
My husband works for a good, honest company…you should look into his company. What state do you live in?
This is a Cart/Horse type question.
You may be in a better position to purchase a home if you already have a "Pre-Approval" (not Pre-Qualified) letter stating how much you have to spend, but many Loan Companies won't Pre-Approve you unless you have an Offer to Purchase for a particular property.
You probably should get a Real Estate Agent to act as your Buyer's Agent, on your behalf.
