Try contacting an insurance broker by logging on to a website like http://www.healthinsurancewiz.com and filling out a form requesting a free quote. Your information will be sent to a broker in your area works with several insurers and can find the best rates and coverage for you.

I'm not sure that this is legal in the US. Also, You would have to be tested for diseases, like hepatitis and HIV.

Also, all things for human consumption are regulated by the FDA.

I think you have a gracious and unselfish idea. But,- I think you would be setting yourself up for a lot of grief. If something happens to somebody's baby, they are going to blame you. Even cow's milk is pasteurised and homogenised for safety purposes. Even if the people who buy it, let it set out and bacteria grow in it, you can be in big trouble.

Please don't do it. I think you could get into a lot of trouble, especially for reasons that I mentioned before.

Another loophole is shipping. Think about the dangers of letting someone else handle it. Few shippers accept bodily fluids. Also, how are you going to assure that it will arrive safe (at the correct Temperature?)

For the best gas mileage I would say look at them in this order (best to worst):
Scion, Mitsubishi, Mercedes CLK, Infinity, Land Rover (this entirely depends on the engine sizes in the cars however)

In terms of reliability and repair costs:
Scion, Infinity, Mitsubishi, Mercedes, Land Rover

Land Rovers and Mercedes are notorious for being unreliable as well as being much more costly to repair (German and British companies).

In terms of safety I would say the Land Rover is up there because there's a lot more metal between you and anything that you hit or that hits you (for the most part). None of those companies are particularly well known for being safe. The Land Rover would also be good for carrying things in as well as more comfortable for other people.

I would say get the Land Rover if you plan on driving off paved roads or carrying a lot of stuff frequently (trips to go skiing or something).

I would say your overall best bet is the Scion. Scions are made by Toyota so they are very reliable when taken care of. The Tc gets great gas mileage and is fairly cheap to repair as well. It's also got enough room for friends and is relatively safe. If you end up getting in an accident, the Scion is the cheapest on that list by far and would be less money out of your family's pocket if/when you do end up getting in an accident.

I think it is extremely unfair to offer a bailout. Not just unfair to offer this money to the banks, but also to help out the borrowers. Those who borrowed too much, knew what their payment was going to be when they signed those closing papers. It clearly states what the principal, interest, taxes and insurance are going to cost each month. If the borrow couldn't afford what they saw, then they shouldn't have bought that house. I think it's unfair to use tax dollars to bailout people who were foolish.

I bought my house during this big buying craze, and I bought within my means, so why am I having to pay for someone who didn't???

Also, what about all those who have already had their house foreclosed on, how is that fair to those people, or their banks who didn't have this chance?

Why do people constantly look for handouts? The founding fathers of this country (and the pioneers) pull themselves up by their bootstraps, and created things when the odds were against them, why are we not able to this this anymore???

By the way, nice letter, but I think in your third paragraph you need the change the word "lie" to"like" before sending it.

This happens all of the time, I doubt the agent is playing a game, the odds of losing you as a buyer are too high.

Place the offer in time and see what happens. Lose the contingencies if you can, your offer is already really weak because you are not placing a down payment, the other bidder may get the house for less money then your bid because of it.

From 1990 to 2000 I had car insurance and homeowners insurance with Allstate.

There were a few car accidents that Allstate took care of right away.

Also, there was a situation where my condo was leaking water into the condo below. Again, Allstate took care of it right away.

I use Geico now and haven't had a claim with them.

I think that all the major companies will respond properly. All I can say is to really document things well. Pictures, police reports, anything you can.

Insurance companies may or may not send out an adjuster. If they don't, you just need really good paperwork to satisfy them.

You will require home contents insurance as you do not own your building and therefore have no insurable interest in it. Typically this comes with liability as an occupier and personal liability towards others for members of your household, money and cover for certain possession outside the home. The cover can be "standard" fire flood, water damage, vandalism theft / burglary etc and then "Accidental Damage cover. Many policies include this accidental damage on certain items such as TVs computes etc in the standard package. In addition you will have some form of cover for alternative accommodation should your home become unoccupiable due to insured peril.
The premium is calculate by applying a rate to the sum insured. Eg £30,000 contents are charged at £x premium per £1000 contents. This rate is based on the postcode of the flat. Central London is expensive.
I hope this assists.
